The HCA Board of Directors has called a Special Meeting of Directors at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2026, to further discuss concerns with HCA legal counsel over proposed limited exterior HVAC unit installation on adjacent landscaped HCA Common Area by Models C1, C2, and A5A Goodman Houses with side-to-side and floor-to-ceiling ground level rear patio framed glass walls, and possibly others, that do not allow typical rear patio exterior HVAC installation, and/or that might require roof or front plaza installations not desired by homeowners and/or the HCA Board.

A DRB application from an end unit Block 3 Model C2 Goodman House homeowner Member requesting such a landscaped common area easement with visual and acoustical screening is currently under consideration by the Board for determination of opposing or non-opposing affected party status.

Because this agenda item involves both legal and compliance discussions with HCA legal counsel, it will be held in non-public executive session as allowed by law, following public call-to-order, quorum, and member forum agenda items.  Each Member household may speak for a maximum of three minutes during the forum, and Director response or discussion is not required.
