Similar to circumstances resulting in an October 2026 Special Meeting, Directors are expected to require additional time to discuss and finalize the 2027 Annual Budget, and to further discuss and act upon other agenda items for which there may be insufficient time to complete at the October 21, 2026 monthly Regular Meeting. As such, HCA President Poss called a Special Meeting for those purposes to be held via Google Meet at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 28, 2026.
However, if Directors agree on October 21 to meet instead on Thursday October 29 or Friday October 30, or if all agenda items including the 2027 budget are completed at the October 21 meeting, this Special Meeting day and time may change and that status will be updated accordingly on this webpage.
UPDATE: At their Wednesday, October 21, 2026 monthly Regular Meeting, Directors agreed to reschedule this Special Meeting to 5:00 p.m. Friday, October 30, 2026 on Google Meet to accommodate ongoing individual Director schedules.
UPDATE: The meeting will now start at 8:00 p.m. to accommodate the unexpected work schedule extension of a key HCA Officer.
