Monthly HCA Board Meeting – 7:30-9 pm

To enhance neighborly community interaction and access during transition to a new Board of Directors, the Hickory Cluster Association monthly Regular Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, June 18, 2025 has changed from a virtual online meeting to a traditional in-person gathering.

This change will allow all HCA Members to directly participate without the burden of sometimes disruptive online systems issues.  During this meeting, online access will not be available.

The meeting will now take place in Rooms R-113 and R-114 at United Christian Parish, 11508 North Shore Drive, Reston, VA 20190, immediately north of and adjacent to HCA Block 3.

Attendees can easily get to UCP up the asphalt footpath along the HCA western boundary to Lake Anne Elementary School behind HCA Block 3.  From the east-west RA Green Trail, take a left turn up the hill, and another left turn on the short UCP parking lot path just before the school low black chain link fence gate.  Vehicle parking is also available in the UCP rear lot.

Enter the UCP interior via marked Door No. 1 at mid-building from the rear parking lot.  UCP interior access is continuously electronically-controlled for building and occupant security.  From about 7:00 p.m. until meeting start at 7:30 p.m., someone will be there to let you in.  Once inside Door No. 1, turn right and proceed down the long hallway.  Meeting rooms R-113 and R-114 are midway down on the left.

Access to the UCP building interior meeting space will be available as early as 7:00 p.m.

THE MEETING WILL START PROMPTLY AT 7:30 P.M.

PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY TO AVOID DISRUPTING THE MEETING IN PROGRESS.

AFTER 7:30 P.M., DOOR NO. 1 WILL BE UNATTENDED WITH NO IMMEDIATE INTERIOR ACCESS.

As allowed by Code of Virginia Section 55.1-1816, HCA Member Comments at meeting start will be limited to three minutes per speaker.  Member comments during the remainder of the meeting will not be allowed so HCA Directors can address the large number of issues requiring their full attention.

As also allowed by Section 55.1-1816, HCA Directors will meet privately without Members in Executive Session to discuss personnel, legal, contract, and governing documents compliance issues.
